 I Kicked My Heels off

I have to say,  I was a professional “Miss Nice”.

I followed the script. I wore the heels. I smiled and said “Yes” when I meant “Hell, no.”

Then, my Co-Founders showed me how to shatter the glass.

They arrived not with a business plan. One rainy day, a pregnant calico meowed at me just before a typhoon hit. The very next day, she entrusted me with her four, tiny, beating hearts. Overnight, my world expanded from 1 to 6.

They are so real, always showing their emotion obviously and voicing their needs loudly. They live freely, on their own terms. They move with elegance, but when boundaries are crossed, their “no” is immediate, and final. 

Watching them, I felt my inner cat stretched and yawned, awaking.

Something clicked into place.

I looked down at my own feet, squeezed into their "beautiful tortures".

I kicked them off.

I'll Never Go Back

When Barbie kicked off her heels and turned to comfy slip-ons, she stopped being an object to be looked at, and became the subject of her own story.

When I did the same thing, a new magic entered into my life. My body was liberated. My spirit stopped begging for permission. My entire being began to feel lighter, yet infinitely stronger.

This is the core of MissMojo‘s.

It starts with liberating our feet, as the first step on the journey to reclaiming our inner mojo.

And then we live as a real Miss Mojo:

Comfort-First:  Style never comes before well-being.
Gentle Persistence: Like a soft sole with firm support.
Authentically Herself:  External judgement is nothing.

The Circle of Care

The love I gave my cats has been returned to me a thousandfold. 

To extend this circle of care, we donate 5% of our monthly profits to local veterinary clinics and animal rescue organizations. 

We know we're still small, and can only do little. But as a growing brand, we are proud to see our donations rising month by month. Together, we're helping more and more little cuties enjoy a light, easy, and comfy life - just like us.

It's a long-term commitment that requires professional, sustained investments.  As MissMojo's grows, we will give back even more — in the name of every single patron.
